In an attempt to revive my news page, here's a little catch up.
So what have I done? Well, I played a couple of gigs; one at the beautiful Bishop's House in Sheffield supporting Divil a Bit and Among the Barley for Heretic's folk club. Then one in a supposedly haunted pub in Clun, Shropshire.
The Rough Trade Live ep was released and more recently my second album inspired by the poems of Leonard Cohen to mark his death. Following this release, just last week I released the first in a series of digital only eps 'imperfections 1' which are, perhaps, more experimental in nature.
The future
There will certainly be more of the 'imperfections' series, probably around one a month. It's a good way to keep me focused and playing, helping me to avoid my lazy tendencies. Probably somewhere around June or July, I'm hoping to release my next 'proper' album although, again, this will most probably be at least semi improvised; it's a good way of accumulating more material. Hopefully most of it works.
I think there is possibly a gig in Beeston in the summer, but I'm not sure how much more I will play live due to the practicalities of it all .. and let's face it, I'm hardly very visual sitting there staring at my guitar!

27/2/16 - Cassette order placed and Bandcamp tracks uploaded. CDs being ordered tomorrow.
5/2/16 - Website launched & awaiting tracks back from mastering for 'Dead Birds' album
